Aaram Baagh, as the name suggests, originates from yesteryear's venue popularly known as 'Garden of Retreat' or 'Pleasure Garden,' having its association with kings and their royal families built originally for relaxation. These were outhouses constructedoutside the city for recreation and leisure amidst royal comforts.

The city boasts of Mughal-era architecture in its Forts, Palaces and Monuments including the 'Taj Mahal', one of the seven wonders of the world. Taking a cue of the historical lineage, 'Pachar Group of Hotels' came up with ultra luxurious property - Aaram Baagh at Agra with two Palaces known as Shahi Mahal and Shalimar Mahal.
